Avenza社は、お客様のご要望に応えられるよう、常日頃Avenza Mapsの改善やサポート、最新バージョンのOS対応に取り組んでおります。今後もさらに皆様のご要望に応えられるよう努力いたしますが、そのため、どこかの時点で旧OSバージョンのサポートを打ち切らねばならない状況にあります。今回、2018年第三期(8月以降）にリリース予定の、Avenza Maps3.6からAndroid 5 および iOS 10 のサポートを行わないことをAvenza社が発表いたしました。
すでにAndroid 9 とiOS 12 のリリースがアナウンスされており、Avenza社は、今後も最新OSに対応し、Avenza Mapsの機能を充実して参ります。
今年の夏に予定しておりますAvenza Maps3.6リリース後もAndroid 5 や iOS 10 をお使いになられるご予定の方は、引き続きAvenza Maps3.5はお使いいただけます。

Dropping support for Android 5 and iOS 10
Dear Avenza Maps Pro Customer,
Thank you for choosing the Avenza Maps app.
We’re dedicated to providing the right solutions to you, which means we’re continuously enhancing and improving Avenza Maps in response to changing technology and what you’ve told us matters most to you. Unfortunately, this means that eventually, support for some of our older versions has to end.
With Android 9 and iOS 12 announcements just around the corner, we plan to discontinue support for Android 5 and iOS 10 in Avenza Maps 3.6, tentatively scheduled for Q3 2018.
How does this affect you?
If you’re already using devices with Android 6 or later or devices with iOS 11, there’s no impact.
Users that require ongoing use of Android 5 and iOS 10 devices can continue to use Avenza Maps up to version 3.5, which means they may miss out on newer features and functionality in future releases.
